Ceilidhs and Concerts The Glenelg and Arnisdale Community Hall


Located in the centre of the village, the new hall was opened on the 12th March 2004. Owned and run by the community, the Glenelg hall hosts a variety of events throughout the year including Ceilidhs, coffee mornings, music, workshops and public meetings.



Wedding receptions


Local users groups frequently predominate with everything from keep fit sessions to indoor bowls, coffee mornings and Sunday school meetings. The hall houses public toilets and a shower, open from the beginning of April to the end of October between the hours of 8.00am-8.00pm. A public payphone is also available at these times.

Hall Hire and Bookings

The hall is available to hire for weddings, bands, workshops, coffee mornings, private parties, Ceilidhs or other events.

The Hall is split into 4 parts

1) The foyer with main door entrance (public toilets and showers to the side) and through the foyer are double doors to the;

2) The main events hall

3) Kitchen facilities

4) Cafe



Stage, lighting and P.A. system available

Also available

A stage, lighting and P.A. system can be made available. Seating, tables, bar licence available.
